This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and manage one or several centralized business operation teams, such as Referral Intake, Consignment, Fax Triage, Resupply, PAP Intake, and Documentation.
• Ensure that teams achieve service level agreements, productivity targets, quality benchmarks, and compliance requirements.
• Oversee workflows, staffing structures, and operational capacity.
• Identify areas of inefficiency and apply scalable process enhancements.
• Mentor, coach, and develop managers, supervisors, team leaders, and frontline staff.
• Create succession plans and recognize high-potential talent.
• Conduct performance coaching sessions, talent reviews, and development strategies.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, retention, and performance management.
• Establish and track KPIs related to productivity, quality, turnaround times, order conversion, documentation precision, and employee engagement and retention.
• Utilize dashboards, reporting tools, and operational data to inform decision-making.
• Present updates on department performance, trends, and action plans to senior leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, scalability, automation, and patient experience.
• Collaborate with IT, Training, Compliance, and Operational Excellence teams for system and workflow advancements.
• Engage in acquisition integrations, departmental transitions, and organizational change processes.
• Support the implementation of best practices and standardization of processes.
• Ensure adherence to payer requirements, accreditation standards, HIPAA regulations, and internal policies.
• Work alongside Compliance and Quality teams on audits, process deficiencies, and corrective measures.
• Maintain documentation and accountability standards.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Equivalent leadership experience may be taken into consideration.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in healthcare operations, revenue cycle management, intake, customer service, or related operational settings.
• At least 3 years of experience leading managers, supervisors, or team leaders.
• Experience in DME, home medical equipment, healthcare services, or revenue cycle operations is highly preferred.
• Previous experience managing multiple departments or complex operational functions is preferred.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence across various organizational levels.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to interpret operational metrics and convert data into actionable strategies.
• Strong skills in conflict resolution and coaching.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficient in workforce management tools, reporting systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with Brightree, Paylocity, or similar platforms is preferred.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and utilize a computer for extended durations.
• Occasional travel may be necessary for training purposes, branch visits, or leadership meetings.
