Senior Manager, Capital Markets Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and enhance the Capital Markets Operations function.

• Prioritize tasks, establish clear ownership, and ensure the timely and accurate execution of daily facility operations.

• Promote efficiency and automation by minimizing manual tasks, optimizing data flows, and making facility operations more scalable and reliable.

• Oversee daily facility execution, including draw execution, borrowing base reporting, reconciliations, and other lender reporting.

• Monitor facility usage and covenant compliance, identifying issues before they escalate into breaches.

• Collaborate with the Senior Director of Capital Markets on operational design as new facilities, lenders, and loan products are introduced.

• Develop and continually refine the Capital Markets operating model, systems, processes, controls, and reporting.

• Step in to address complex operational challenges as they occur.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in capital markets operations, warehouse lending, or debt facility management, preferably with exposure to mortgage or structured finance.

• Proven ability to build from the ground up and continuously enhance system efficiency.

• Working knowledge of debt facility mechanics: draws, borrowing base calculations, and lender reporting obligations.

• Proficiency with loan-level data and the ability to trace discrepancies from lender reports back to origination records.

• Capability to work independently in a builder and doer role.

• Preferred: experience in private equity-backed or venture-backed firms.

• Preferred: familiarity with cash management in capital-intensive businesses.

• Preferred: background in real estate, mortgage, or fintech.
