This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts, +1 more state.
• Drive revenue generation by acquiring new clients and expanding relationships with existing ones.
• Identify and qualify leads within the designated territory.
• Implement strategic sales initiatives to secure new business opportunities.
• Assist prospective clients through vendor due diligence, procurement, contracting, and negotiation processes.
• Negotiate and finalize agreements for software, services, and subscriptions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solution Consulting, Product, Delivery, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership teams.
• Foster executive-level engagement and establish trusted-advisor relationships.
• Transition customers to Delivery and Customer Success following contract execution and the initiation of implementation.
• Stay engaged with customer stakeholders and serve as an internal advocate for clients.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue opportunities for account growth.
• Maintain precise forecasts, sales pipelines, and CRM activity logs.
• Represent Candescent at conferences, trade shows, customer events, and executive meetings.
• Provide support to the SVP of Digital Strategy Management and the Sales team.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 7 years of proven success in enterprise software, SaaS, fintech, or banking technology sales.
• Established history of meeting and surpassing revenue goals.
• Experience in selling intricate technology solutions to financial institutions, including engaging with executive-level stakeholders at banks and credit unions.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and close sales opportunities throughout the entire cycle.
• Experience in fostering and maintaining executive relationships with C-suite executives, line-of-business leaders, and digital banking decision-makers.
• Strong skills in consultative selling, negotiation, presentation, and business development.
• Proven success in creating and managing a pipeline of qualified opportunities while maintaining accurate CRM forecasts.
• Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Capacity to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth, private equity-backed environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel across the United States as required.
• Preferred: Experience in selling digital banking, account opening, lending, payments, or other financial technology solutions.
• Preferred: Familiarity with banking operations, digital transformation initiatives, and regulatory considerations.
