Senior Manager, AI – Enterprise Architecture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the technical implementation of iDirect’s AI-driven Business Excellence transformation.

• Establish architectural guidance while creating and providing AI-enhanced solutions, integrations, and platform capabilities.

• Design, construct, and deploy AI-focused and automation solutions throughout business processes.

• Develop use cases for automating bid management, optimizing financial reporting, and enhancing Salesforce/customer workflows.

• Prototype, develop, troubleshoot, and quickly deliver impactful use cases from concept to production.

• Define and advance the architecture of the enterprise AI platform, encompassing a unified data fabric, AI orchestration layer, and API-first integration strategies.

• Convert business requirements into scalable, reusable, secure, and compliant solution architectures and blueprints.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to link initiatives to measurable KPIs such as cycle-time reduction, cost savings, productivity improvements, CSAT, and revenue impact.

• Establish and oversee the Architecture Review Board, enforcing approved platforms, reusable components, and standardized integration patterns.

• Design and implement architecture across Salesforce, SAP/Finance systems, Jira, and Confluence.

• Develop and lead API integrations, event-driven workflows, data pipelines, and AI data layers.

• Create reusable solution templates, architectural patterns, and AI/automation components.

• Serve as a hands-on escalation point for complex technical issues.

• Ensure that solutions adhere to standards for scalability, security, maintainability, and cost-effectiveness.

• Act as a technical liaison between business, ELT, and engineering teams.

• Promote alignment among Business Excellence, AI, DevOps, and IT functions, ensuring adoption and business impact.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 8–12+ years of experience in enterprise technology, solution architecture, or platform engineering.

• Demonstrated experience in building and delivering production-grade solutions, beyond mere design.

• Experience in leading architectural direction while remaining hands-on.

• Strong practical experience with AI/ML platforms, including LLMs, copilots, and AI services.

• Familiarity with automation frameworks and orchestration tools.

• Proficient in API and integration development.

• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.

• Knowledge of data pipelines and analytics platforms.

• Familiarity with enterprise systems such as Salesforce and ERP.

• Understanding of security, governance, and compliance in AI systems.

• Knowledge of DevOps / DevSecOps practices.

• Player-coach mentality with the ability to lead through building.

• Capability to transition from concept to architecture to working solutions at scale.
