Senior Manager, Agile Practice Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Oversee team activities, including managing and coordinating Scrum events

• Identify and resolve obstacles or challenges that impede team progress

• Coach and mentor team members as well as stakeholders

• Encourage collaboration and effective communication between teams

• Assist the Product Owner with product backlog management and prioritization

• Create strategies to monitor and evaluate team progress using established metrics

• Promote self-organization and independence among team members

• Lead initiatives for continuous improvement to boost team performance and productivity

• Establish policies and procedures for the agile governance framework

• Work with departments on project management tools, tracking systems, communication platforms, and automation frameworks

• Guide agile teams in the roadmap for agile adoption and secure stakeholder support

• Investigate emerging agile concepts and industry benchmarks

• Compile a repository of academic research on agile practices, Lean thinking, team dynamics, and organizational change

• Determine project management tools and collaboration platforms to enhance productivity

• Provide insights and visibility into the progress and outcomes of agile initiatives

• Foster cross-functional collaborations for information sharing and resource distribution

⛳️ Requirements

• 7-10+ years of experience in executing and delivering technical projects

• ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP) or a related certification is required

• Skilled in execution and delivery

• Proficient in business intelligence

• Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities

• Expertise in problem-solving and decision-making

• Strong growth mindset skills

• Experience as a resource manager or people leader is preferred

• Background in healthcare, particularly focusing on Medicare and Medicaid lines of business, is preferred

• A bachelor's degree is preferred

• Specialized training or relevant professional qualifications
