This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide analytical support for policies, programs, and business operations to the Army Office of Energy Initiatives (OEI).
• Evaluate federal legislation, Executive Orders, OMB guidance, Army directives, Department of War requirements, and other regulatory factors impacting program implementation.
• Assess governance, processes, and business operations to enhance efficiency, accountability, collaboration, and service delivery.
• Convert complex data into actionable recommendations, executive materials, and management reports.
• Carry out additional job-related responsibilities as assigned.
• Active Secret clearance or the capability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Experience in researching and conducting impact assessments of Department of War policies and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in preparing, coordinating, and editing executive correspondence, decision memoranda, information papers, briefing materials, staffing packages, and other products for senior leaders.
• Skilled in using ETMS2 for initiating, staffing, tracking, coordinating, revising, and closing task assignments.
• Experience in conducting organizational assessments and analyzing business processes.
• Ability to identify deficiencies and formulate as well as implement process improvement recommendations.
• Experience in developing performance measures, metrics, and dashboards.
• Proficiency with Smartsheet, including advanced formulas, reports, dashboards, and automation features.
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt in dynamic environments.
• Self-motivated individual who proactively brings forth ideas and explores new opportunities.
• Strong attention to detail with the capacity to independently produce work products suitable for leadership review.
• Capability to manage multiple high-priority tasks and meet tight or competing deadlines.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
