Senior Machine Learning Engineer – Content and Contributor Intelligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive analyses, encompassing data preparation using SQL or Python, statistical modeling, and the presentation of business concepts.

• Provide mentorship and support to junior engineers, encouraging their development and promoting technical excellence.

• Handle extensive and intricate textual and visual datasets.

• Assist in the development and deployment of machine learning models for both offline, batch-oriented data products and online, real-time services.

• Engage in text and visual comprehension and refine transformer models to extract embeddings for various input formats.

• Implement and automate model pipelines within Python-based services.

• Promote the adoption of best practices in machine learning development and operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models, especially in neural networks, computer vision, and large language models (LLMs), along with their associated data pipelines.

• Proficiency in frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Spark MLlib, XGBoost, and Scikit-learn.

• Strong programming abilities in Python or a comparable language (Java, C++).

• Robust knowledge of engineering principles and infrastructure best practices.

• Familiarity with large language models, LLM APIs (such as OpenAI, Bedrock), prompt engineering, and evaluation techniques.

• A strong desire to discover innovative solutions and the perseverance to see ideas through to completion.
