MLOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and enhance ML/AI solutions in a production environment.

• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers within cross-functional product teams.

• Aid in the ongoing enhancement of MLOps practices and the related platform.

• Construct and manage containerized services utilizing orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

• Diagnose production challenges and enhance the reliability, performance, and cost-effectiveness of ML/AI services.

• Create maintainable and thoroughly tested Python code for production services, automation, and internal tools.

• Develop and refine CI/CD pipelines for ML/AI services.

• Execute data and model versioning, validation, and observability throughout the ML lifecycle.

• Contribute to the formulation of technical designs and architectural decisions.

• Engage in code review processes.

• Incorporate automated security checks into delivery pipelines and adhere to secure development and operational practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in MLOps, DevOps, platform engineering, or software engineering, particularly in deploying and managing ML/AI solutions in production.

• Strong software engineering capabilities in Python, encompassing automated testing, version control, and code review.

• Practical experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins.

• Understanding of ML lifecycle practices such as model packaging, versioning, validation, deployment, and monitoring.

• Experience with tools such as MLflow or Kubeflow is appreciated.

• Solid grasp of software architecture and secure software development and delivery methodologies.
