Senior Machine Learning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +27 more states.

📋 Description

• Improve the productivity and efficiency of Revecore's underpayment operations through machine learning, exploratory data analysis, and software engineering.

• Prioritize claims based on anticipated recovery amounts.

• Enhance the claim-remit matching process.

• Take ownership of the complete development cycle, including training, deployment, assessment, and enhancement of machine learning systems to rank claim opportunities.

• Analyze and investigate both internal and external data sources to uncover actionable insights.

• Research, implement, and initiate new model architectures that positively influence business outcomes.

• Collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, subject matter experts, product managers, and analysts to design and implement effective solutions.

• Apply cloud MLOps and AIOps best practices.

• Evaluate the impact of AI-driven workflows on essential business metrics and leverage these evaluations to refine models and processes.

• Engage in learning and teaching among team members.

• Act as the technical lead for a workstream and collaborate with others to successfully deliver it.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a data-centric discipline.

• Strong scientific reasoning skills.

• Experience in a similar position focused on machine learning or data science.

• Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in a production setting.

• Proficient in Python, including scikit-learn.

• Ability to manipulate data, conduct exploratory data analysis, and derive insights from visual representations.

• Must reside in the United States in a state approved as per the posting.

• Eligibility to work in the United States.

• Successful completion of employment history verification and a background check.

• Knowledge of TensorFlow or PyTorch is advantageous.

• Hands-on experience with modern NLP techniques and tools, such as entity extraction, transformers, and Hugging Face, is a plus.

• Familiarity with Spark is beneficial.

• Experience managing ML pipelines on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.

• A master's degree, Ph.D., or equivalent experience demonstrating scientific reasoning is highly desirable.
