Senior Machine Learning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop innovative technology utilizing advancements in deep learning and machine learning to tailor experiences on Pinterest.

• Collaborate with various teams throughout Pinterest to test and enhance ML models for Homefeed, Ads, Growth, Shopping, and Search.

• Employ data-driven strategies alongside Pinterest’s data to refine candidate retrieval and ranking processes.

• Operate in a high-impact setting characterized by swift experimentation and product launches.

• Stay informed on industry trends related to recommendation systems.

• Utilize LLMs and embeddings to improve content comprehension.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree (or equivalent foreign degree) in Computer Science, Statistics, or a closely related quantitative field.

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related software engineering discipline.

• At least three (3) years of experience with Pytorch.

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience with Tensorflow.

• At least three (3) years of experience using LATEX.

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience with Scikit-learn.

• At least three (3) years of experience working with SQL.

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience utilizing Python.

• At least three (3) years of experience with Java.

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience using Hive.

• At least three (3) years of experience with Recommendation Algorithms.

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience with git.

• At least three (3) years of experience with Spark.

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience using R.

• At least three (3) years of experience with MATLAB.

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Natural Language Processing.

• At least three (3) years of experience in Deep Learning.
