Machine Learning Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop state-of-the-art technology utilizing advancements in deep learning and machine learning to tailor the Pinterest experience.

• Collaborate with various teams throughout Pinterest to test and enhance ML models for Homefeed, Ads, Growth, Shopping, and Search.

• Apply data-driven techniques and leverage Pinterest’s data assets to optimize candidate retrieval.

• Operate in a high-impact setting characterized by swift experimentation and product launches.

• Stay informed on industry trends related to recommendation systems.

• Utilize LLMs to improve content comprehension.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree (or equivalent foreign degree) in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering (any field), or a closely related quantitative field.

• Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related role.

• Two years of experience in User Modeling.

• Two years of experience in Personalization.

• Two years of experience in Recommender Systems.

• Two years of experience in Search and Ranking.

• Two years of experience in Natural Language Processing.

• Two years of experience in Reinforcement Learning.

• Two years of experience in Graph Representation Learning.

• Two years of hands-on experience in constructing data processing pipelines.

• Two years of experience with Hadoop and Spark.

• Two years of experience in Retrieval Targeting.

• Two years of experience utilizing the latest advancements in deep learning and machine learning.

• Two years of experience enhancing ML models for diverse product surfaces.

• Any appropriate combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
