Senior M&A Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and monetize the BESS portfolio.

• Oversee the acquisition, marketing, and sales of BESS projects and portfolios.

• Provide support for buy-side and sell-side transactions from initiation to due diligence, financial modeling, transaction structuring, and closing.

• Lead buy-side and sell-side transactions within the BESS sector.

• Identify, analyze, and assess investment opportunities.

• Contribute to decisions regarding hold/build versus sell strategies.

• Create and execute marketing strategies.

• Prepare decision papers for management and the Investment Committee.

• Establish and maintain a network of project developers, investors, energy companies, Independent Power Producers (IPPs), and other market stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of relevant experience in M&A, private equity, investment banking, transaction advisory, or project development related to BESS.

• Strong expertise in financial modeling and valuation.

• Comprehensive understanding of the energy and/or project development markets, preferably with an established network.

• Exceptional negotiation skills and persuasive capabilities.

• An independent, structured, and goal-oriented approach to tasks.

• A university degree in business administration, finance, industrial engineering, or a related field.

• Fluency in both German and English, including professional-level negotiation skills.
