Senior Logistics Strategy and Integration Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in joint-level planning initiatives by integrating spacelift capabilities into the Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise (JDDE).

• Utilize the Joint Planning Process (JPP) to assess mission requirements, operational concepts, and policy consequences.

• Perform DOTMLPF-P analysis to pinpoint capability gaps, risks, and opportunities, while formulating recommendations.

• Create, staff, and enhance Commander’s Estimates throughout the planning lifecycle.

• Develop, review, and align joint doctrine, policy, and service-level guidance.

• Offer qualitative and quantitative analysis, modeling, simulation, and other analytical assistance to support senior leader decision-making.

• Design, develop, and implement DoD exercises, wargames, and tabletop events.

• Collaborate with USTRANSCOM, USSF, the Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, and other DoD stakeholders.

• Prepare briefings for senior leadership, decision papers, reports, and various written materials.

• Facilitate working groups, planning sessions, and stakeholder meetings both in-person and virtually.

• Monitor, evaluate, and communicate emerging issues, risks, dependencies, and recommendations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree with 4 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience, in DoD project leadership, joint planning, transportation, and logistics.

• Background in logistics planning with proven experience in applying the Joint Planning Process (JPP).

• Experience at the staff level within the Joint Staff, Service Headquarters, Major Command (MAJCOM), Agency, and/or Combatant Command (CCMD).

• Proficient in conducting DOTMLPF-P analysis and supporting senior leader decision products, including Commander’s Estimates.

• Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative analysis, analytical and simulation models, and Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI).

• Experience in designing and executing DoD exercises, wargames, or tabletop events.

• Knowledge of DoD joint operations.

• Understanding of USTRANSCOM roles, challenges, and priorities.

• Awareness of the United States Space Force (USSF) organization, mission, and operational constructs.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including senior-level correspondence, presentations, meeting notes, and reports.

• Capability to facilitate high-level meetings and planning sessions with multiple stakeholders, both in-person and virtually.

• Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

• Willingness to perform occasional shift work and extended hours, as necessary.

• Availability for limited travel within CONUS (approximately 10%).

• Active Secret security clearance required, with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
