Senior Legal Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Prepare, examine, and negotiate software licensing and master services agreements with clients.

• Prepare, examine, and negotiate reseller and distribution agreements with partners.

• Prepare, examine, and negotiate data processing agreements.

• Prepare, examine, and negotiate marketing, advertising, and other strategic commercial arrangements.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Global Sales, Partner Organization, Finance, and Deal Desk teams.

• Provide timely, practical, and scalable legal support.

• Assist and promote legal team initiatives.

• Coordinate with stakeholders to progress essential projects and enhance processes as the company grows.

• Perform legal research and offer guidance on various issues.

• Offer support in employment matters, disputes, marketing and advertising, intellectual property, and cyber incident response.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–6 years of pertinent experience, either in a leading law firm (transactional practice) or within a dynamic in-house legal department, or ideally both.

• Experience with Legal AI tools.

• Ability to navigate complex issues in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Strong work ethic with the capability to excel in a high-growth, fast-paced setting.

• Capacity to work independently and proactively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Keen attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.

• Business-oriented mindset with responsiveness to commercial needs and objectives.

• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across teams and organizational levels.

• Must be qualified to practice law; specific bar admission is not specified.
