This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Carry out content development activities for literacy product training, encompassing instructor-led sessions, eLearning, microlearning, and various other formats.
• Oversee content creation across diverse formats and subject areas for literacy products, including high-visibility deliverables.
• Act as the subject matter expert and primary resource for literacy product content.
• Serve as the main liaison between LXR and IST regarding literacy product learning requirements.
• Integrate feedback from the Stakeholder Program Manager, Product Development, and Product Marketing to shape the literacy content strategy.
• Collaborate with Content and Learning Experience Program Managers to ensure training aligns with platform capabilities, content standards, and learner requirements.
• Assist with LMS administration and content uploads.
• Conduct scheduled and on-demand training sessions to enhance IST readiness.
• Oversee timelines and deliverables related to the production and deployment of literacy content.
• Support content quality evaluations and contribute to the documentation of processes and best practices.
• Utilize input from stakeholders and learners to refine training content and identify gaps or discrepancies.
• Ensure that literacy content complies with accessibility, inclusivity, and regulatory requirements.
• Uphold Curriculum Associates’ mission of enhancing educational technology and learning experiences for K–8 students.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Literacy, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Over 3 years of experience in learning and development or content creation, ideally within K–12 education or publishing.
• Familiarity with K–12 literacy curriculum standards and instructional requirements.
• Experience with learning platforms, authoring tools, or other content development technologies is preferred.
• Extensive subject-matter knowledge in K–12 literacy instruction and curriculum.
• Capability to transform stakeholder learning needs into learner-centered content across various formats, including instructor-led training, eLearning, and microlearning.
• Proficiency in creating, managing, and delivering precise, timely, and engaging literacy training materials.
• Ability to consolidate input from Product Development, Product Marketing, and Program Managers.
• Competence in delivering both formal and informal training sessions.
• Skill in managing timelines, deliverables, and deployment across multiple ongoing initiatives.
• Ability to review literacy content for accuracy, consistency, and quality.
• Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), authoring tools, and digital learning platforms.
• Knowledge of best practices for creating accessible, inclusive, and compliant learning content.
• Ability to interpret feedback from stakeholders and learners.
• Minimal travel requirements, less than twice a month, with occasional in-person training or content delivery.
