This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and implement new-hire training for products.
• Manage the entire new-hire training program for the field team in partnership with the Head of Sales Training, sales leadership, and regional field training staff.
• Create training materials and methods for delivery.
• Organize onboarding, training, and certification processes for new employees throughout their tenure.
• Lead the National Field Trainer program to guarantee team preparedness and compliance.
• Administer the Field Site Training Event Program, including managing attendees, providers, coordination, and outcomes.
• Develop and present virtual content for new-hire cohorts in between in-person sessions.
• Participate in on-site training events, such as cadaver labs, product launch meetings, and National and Global Sales Meetings.
• Act as a subject matter expert in Spinal Cord Stimulation and Saluda Medical Closed Loop technology.
• Collaborate with sales leadership on training plans for new-hire direct reports, adjusting them to meet learning and business requirements.
• Establish effective onboarding processes in collaboration with HR and other business units.
• Create and implement engaging, actionable, scalable, and results-oriented training methods.
• Evaluate and modify curricula based on feedback from participants, proctors, and trainers.
• Design assessment and evaluation strategies to track participant progress and training effectiveness.
• Develop training agendas that align with anticipated outcomes.
• Work across functions to assist new hires in understanding interdisciplinary team operations.
• Coordinate with Field Training, R&D, and Marketing to integrate product and technical training.
• Support commercial preparedness for product launches in collaboration with Upstream Marketing and R&D.
• Create and monitor KPIs for sales training programs, assessing their effectiveness and demonstrating financial ROI.
• Engage with cross-functional and global regional partners to identify educational and training requirements and support business objectives.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or a health-related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience overseeing training programs within the medical device sector.
• Experience in the medical device field is mandatory.
• Preference for candidates with neuromodulation experience.
• Background in medical device clinical support, sales, technical device support, and patient-facing roles is required.
• Sales experience is preferred.
• An MBA or relevant advanced degree is desirable.
• Proven experience in supporting and managing training curricula.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks for various trainees simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational and tracking abilities for managing numerous projects.
• Strong public speaking capabilities.
• Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems.
• Understanding of adult learning principles is essential.
• Knowledge in instructional design is advantageous.
• Extensive cross-functional experience.
• Capability to cultivate strong relationships with customers, clinical personnel, and sales partners.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication and negotiation skills for diverse audiences, including sales and marketing leadership.
• Ability to adhere to company policies, procedures, industry regulations, and government guidelines, including FDA and AdvaMed compliance.
