Senior Lead Software Engineer, Analytics Products

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the development of healthcare analytics products.

• Design efficient ETL processes for data transformation.

• Optimize and sustain data pipelines and databases.

• Ensure smooth technology integration within a dedicated cross-functional team.

• Collaborate with PhDs, engineers, product managers, and consultants.

• Formulate strategies and roadmaps alongside product leadership.

• Investigate technological advancements and enhance development workflows.

• Assess the impact of analytics products on patient outcomes and client goals.

• Create data visualizations and dashboards.

• Apply statistical and machine learning algorithms.

• Analyze millions of daily Electronic Health Record entries.

• Mentor junior team members.

• Stay updated with the latest technology trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. work authorization is a prerequisite.

• B.S. degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or equivalent work experience.

• Over 5 years of relevant software development experience and/or experience in leading a project or team.

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Software Engineer, showcasing expertise in developing analytics products or similar.

• Proficient in relational database concepts, preferably MySQL.

• Strong programming abilities in Python, R, or similar languages.

• Ability to work effectively in team-oriented environments.

• Competence in maintaining data pipelines and databases.

• Capacity for independent work as a self-starter.

• Experience with Agile development processes, preferably Scrum.

• Familiarity with Unix-like operating systems, particularly Linux.

• Experience in designing ETL processes for data transformation.

• Basic understanding of large-scale data warehousing technologies and tools.

• Expertise in Cloud Services, preferably AWS.
