Database Administrator, ETL Engineer – Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provision, configure, and manage Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse instances within OCI.

• Implement and oversee data ingestion pipelines using OCI Data Integration Cloud Service.

• Create ETL/ELT workflows to load, transform, and stage data for subsequent analytics.

• Design, construct, and sustain STAR schemas optimized for reporting and analytical performance.

• Monitor database performance, storage utilization, and query efficiency across the ADW environment.

• Collaborate with analytics, data engineering, and infrastructure teams to meet reporting and semantic model requirements.

• Ensure security, access control, and appropriate configuration of OCI resources employed in the data pipeline.

• Document data models, ETL pipelines, data mapping logic, and database configurations for long-term maintainability.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator or ETL Engineer.

• Active Public Trust Clearance.

• U.S. citizenship status is required.

• Practical experience with Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW).

• Proficient in building and managing pipelines in OCI Data Integration Cloud Service.

• Strong background in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) administration and resource configuration.

• Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization, analytical functions, and performance tuning.

• Experience in designing and maintaining STAR schemas and dimensional data models.

• Familiarity with ETL/ELT best practices and cloud-based data warehousing strategies.

• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and security best practices in cloud environments.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently while valuing teamwork.
