Senior Lead Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Oversee and implement all stages of project risk evaluations, covering planning, fieldwork, reporting, and verification of issues.

• Perform walkthroughs and testing procedures to assess governance, risk management, and internal control mechanisms.

• Analyze project status reports, governance documents, risk registers, issue logs, and key performance metrics.

• Recognize, evaluate, and communicate project risks, control deficiencies, implementation challenges, and compliance issues with regulations.

• Prepare audit findings, observations, executive summaries, and reporting materials for senior management and audit leadership.

• Raise significant concerns to project leadership and oversee remediation efforts until they are resolved.

• Facilitate integrated reviews that involve multiple audit teams and subject matter experts across various risk domains.

• Assess compliance with enterprise project management standards, governance frameworks, policies, and regulatory requirements.

• Analyze risks and controls related to technology-driven transformation initiatives and emerging technologies.

• Enhance Internal Audit's project and technology risk oversight functions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in audit, risk management, technology risk, project management, or a related field.

• Proficient in audit and risk management practices.

• Familiarity with technology-driven transformations, system development methodologies, data governance, cybersecurity principles, Artificial Intelligence, and Generative AI.

• Proven ability to collaborate with business, technology, risk, compliance, and audit stakeholders.

• Capability to lead intricate reviews and coordinate cross-functional audit teams.

• Competence in mentoring staff.

• Preferred certifications include CPA, CIA, CISA, CSPO, CSM, PMP, or CRISC.

• Must be a U.S. citizen or otherwise eligible to work without requiring employment visa sponsorship; this position is not open to employment visa sponsorship for non-U.S. citizens.
