Senior Lawyer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Become a part of Dentons’ Helix team of employment experts, assisting a select group of important clients.

• Manage a significant volume of employment tribunal cases, primarily focusing on unfair dismissal and discrimination claims.

• Take responsibility for essential client needs and transactions.

• Address both core and prominent aspects of client issues.

• Collaborate effectively with the dedicated team, the UK Employment team, and clients’ in-house legal departments.

• Implement newly developed working methods and technological solutions.

• Mentor junior team members and showcase best practices in litigation management.

• Build and sustain client relationships.

• Provide exceptional client service.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a qualified solicitor.

• Strong academic background, including a degree or equivalent qualification.

• Experience in handling general employment matters.

• Sound knowledge of collective and individual redundancy processes, unfair dismissal, and all facets of discrimination.

• Ideally, experience with employment tribunals.

• Familiarity with volume litigation is considered a valuable asset.

• Capability to manage a high volume of cases while meeting tight deadlines.

• Awareness of technology trends.

• Proficient drafting skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Experience in supervising junior lawyers, paralegals, trainees, or apprentices is preferred.

• Strong problem-solving, policy formulation, and business acumen.

• Initiative and the ability to influence outcomes.

• Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented with the capacity to prioritize and manage responsibilities effectively.
