This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Manage a high volume of employment litigation cases, primarily focusing on unfair dismissal and discrimination claims.
• Collaborate as part of a team to provide exceptional client service.
• Take charge of significant client needs and transactions.
• Address key and high-profile elements of client issues.
• Work in a cooperative manner while maintaining a level of independence.
• Mentor junior team members and exemplify best practices in litigation management.
• Partner with the UK Employment team and clients’ in-house legal departments.
• Cultivate and enhance client relationships.
• Implement newly developed working methods and technological tools.
• Pursue personal and professional growth while delivering high-quality, focused services.
• Must be a qualified solicitor.
• Strong academic background, including a degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in handling general employment matters.
• Solid understanding of collective and individual redundancy processes, unfair dismissal, and all facets of discrimination.
• Ideally, experience in employment tribunals.
• Experience with volume litigation is a valuable advantage.
• Ability to manage a high caseload within strict deadlines.
• Familiarity with technology.
• Proficient drafting abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in supervising junior lawyers, paralegals, trainees, or apprentices is preferred.
• Strong commitment to client service.
• Skills in problem-solving, policy-making, and business awareness.
