Senior Java Fullstack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute a variety of customer projects across web and enterprise settings.

• Partner with customers to identify business requirements and convert them into high-quality software solutions.

• Make customer visits around 2–3 times a week.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and efficient code alongside development teams through pair and mob programming techniques.

• Mentor and assist team members.

• Facilitate the complete software lifecycle from conception to production with a DevOps approach.

• Implement automated quality checks through test-driven development and specification by example.

• Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends, sharing insights with the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (FH, Uni, ETH or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over two years of demonstrated experience as a Java Developer.

• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming principles and best practices.

• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or similar.

• In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, databases, RESTful APIs, messaging systems, container orchestration, microservices, and cloud services like AWS and Azure.

• Experience working within agile methodologies and agile development teams.

• Fluent in both German and English, with at least a C1 proficiency level.
