Senior Java Engineer, IT Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Integrate into two distinct projects within the Insurance sector

• Allocate approximately 50% of your capacity to each project

• Perform duties as a Senior Java Engineer / IT Lead

• Conduct high-level analyses

• Develop microservices and work with Java 8 and Spring Boot

• Define and implement APIs using API Connect or YAML/OpenAPI contracts

• Work with JBoss and relational databases SQL/PLSQL

• Resolve complex queries, joins, and subqueries, and engage in relational modeling

• Collaborate with a team committed to providing support

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 years of experience

• Solid knowledge of JBPM (or the ability to acquire it quickly)

• Proficiency in Java 8

• Experience with Spring Boot

• Familiarity with API Connect or defining and implementing APIs through YAML/OpenAPI contracts

• Experience in microservices development

• Experience with JBoss (or the ability to adapt quickly to the environment)

• Strong analytical skills

• Proficiency in relational databases: SQL / PL/SQL

• Experience with tools such as DBeaver

• Mastery of complex queries, joins, subqueries, and relational modeling

• Willingness to occasionally visit the offices in Jaén or Córdoba is positively valued
