Senior Java Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and create high-performance applications utilizing Java.

• Collaborate with GraphDB and Scala components to handle intricate data relationships and processing.

• Facilitate big data systems that operate at scale with ongoing, real-time data processing.

• Develop and enhance systems for transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and fraud detection.

• Guarantee the reliability, scalability, and performance of platforms for critical business workloads.

• Construct, modernize, and improve an enterprise-level Master Data Platform.

• Enable efficient data exchange between systems while complying with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.

• Aid in operational efficiency, regulatory reporting, risk management, and customer experience initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Java, encompassing Concurrency, JVM, and JMM.

• Familiarity with big data technologies and distributed processing frameworks.

• Proven experience in building streaming data architectures.

• Solid understanding of Data Meshes, Data Lakes, and data warehousing solutions.

• Extensive experience with Kubernetes; constructing Kubernetes operators is particularly valued.

• Background with message brokers like Kafka and RabbitMQ.

• Practical experience with messaging systems including Kafka, Solace, or IBM MQ.

• Experience with Graph databases, particularly GraphDB, and Scala.

• Familiarity with Docker.

• Experience with OpenShift or public cloud environments.

• Proficient in Java profiling and troubleshooting.

• Experience with MongoDB.

• Knowledge of FX risk calculations.

• Understanding of data governance, master data management, and real-time processing systems.

• Capability to work on highly critical, large-scale enterprise platforms.
