Senior Java Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Build back-end web applications

• Create and implement essential business logic, high-performance servers, and databases

• Ensure systems remain secure, reliable, and optimized across various platforms

• Design and develop APIs to facilitate communication between systems

• Work collaboratively with developers to create scalable software solutions

• Oversee significant projects from their inception to completion

• Maintain code quality, address bugs, and improve functionality

• Evaluate data, processes, and code to discover enhancements and resolve issues

• Develop and uphold technical documentation

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree in Information Technology

• At least 9 years of professional experience in software development

• Proficiency in Java 8+, Spring, Spring Boot, Java EE, and Hibernate

• Familiarity with Oracle Service Bus, Oracle DB, and RDBMS database technologies

• Knowledge of OpenID Connect, Single Sign-On (SSO), and integration techniques

• Practical experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for cloud development

• Proficient in Kafka, ActiveMQ, JMS, REST APIs, and SOAP APIs

• Familiarity with tools such as Secunda and IOP IAM

• Advanced understanding of Procurement and Grant Management business domains

• Knowledge of Oracle WebLogic Server, Apache, SSL/TLS, and reverse proxy configurations

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Bamboo, and Docker

• Proficient in Git

• Fluent in English

• Familiarity with blockchain technologies, NoSQL databases, Angular, TypeScript, and front-end technologies is a plus

• Proficiency in French is a plus
