Senior Java Developer – WildFly, Enterprise Applications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Maintain and improve the functionality of existing Java applications.

• Design and implement new features and solutions that align with business needs.

• Identify and troubleshoot software defects, production issues, and technical challenges.

• Work with databases, messaging systems, containers, virtual machines, and associated infrastructure.

• Promote continuous improvement, reliability, and maintainability of applications.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to enhance development speed and efficiency.

• Offer software-related expertise to sales and project teams as needed.

• Occasionally access and operate within customers’ private environments.

• Collaborate remotely with both the customer and the broader engineering team.

• Be open to occasional travel to the Nordics, ideally once or twice a year.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior-level commercial experience in Java development.

• Strong practical experience with WildFly and ORM frameworks.

• Familiarity with messaging technologies, preferably RabbitMQ.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database.

• Knowledge of containers, virtual machines, and enterprise application infrastructure.

• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools, ideally AWS Kiro or similar solutions.

• Proficient communication skills in English.

• Self-motivated, collaborative, and capable of working independently in a remote setting.

• Experience in welding, industrial, or manufacturing sectors is a plus, but not mandatory.
