Senior Java Developer, Open Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Participate in the implementation, enhancement, and ongoing support of solutions associated with the Metrics Control Platform (PCM).

• Create and sustain integrations between internal systems and the metrics platform.

• Develop automated processes for the collection, processing, validation, consolidation, and submission of metrics.

• Ensure the quality, integrity, and traceability of the reported data.

• Identify and resolve inconsistencies and discrepancies in the information.

• Create solutions utilizing APIs, batch processes, databases, and methods for extracting operational information.

• Assist in defining metrics based on logs, metrics, and traces.

• Engage in the observability and monitoring of APIs and services.

• Establish and maintain controls, evidence, and audit mechanisms in relation to regulatory requirements.

• Convert regulatory requirements into technical and operational specifications.

• Collaborate with Business, Architecture, Development, and Operations teams.

• Aid in process documentation and team training.

• Contribute to the development of a governance framework for the continuous support of metric collection and submission processes.


⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with Open Finance/Open Banking in Brazil.

• Understanding of the governance structure, participants, roles, and responsibilities within the Open Finance ecosystem.

• Proficiency in Java.

• Familiarity with SQL and data modeling.

• Experience with system integrations, APIs, and/or batch processes.

• Background in data and metrics collection, processing, consolidation, and validation.

• Knowledge of ETL/ELT and data integration methodologies.

• Experience with observability and monitoring of APIs and services.

• Ability to analyze logs, metrics, and traces to produce indicators.

• Experience with controls, auditing, traceability, and data quality.

• Capability to translate regulatory requirements into technical solutions.

• Experience working in critical, high-availability environments with substantial processing volumes.

• Familiarity with Java, SQL, relational modeling, ETL/ELT, APIs and integrations, databases, and data processing and consolidation, observability, and monitoring.

• Willingness and ability to work with or learn Node.js, C#, and Rust.
