Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design and develop Java services and APIs.

• Define and enhance architecture, encompassing microservices, integrations, and performance optimization.

• Guarantee code quality through testing, code reviews, and compliance with standards.

• Diagnose and resolve intricate production issues.

• Work collaboratively with Product, QA, and UX teams in agile settings.

• Mentor and assist mid-level and junior developers.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of processes and tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in Java 8 or later, along with Spring/Spring Boot.

• Experience with REST APIs, relational databases, and version control using Git.

• Understanding of microservices architecture and system integration.

• Proficiency in automated unit and integration testing.

• Prior experience working in agile teams utilizing Scrum, Kanban, or similar methodologies.

• Capability to provide technical leadership and assist in architectural decision-making.

• Nice to have: familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, as well as containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and observability, encompassing logs, metrics, and tracing.

• Previous involvement in high-scale, mission-critical environments.

• Contributions to communities, open-source projects, or technical presentations.
