Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance backend solutions based on Java and microservices architectures.

• Participate in the functional and technical definition of new products and capabilities.

• Develop backend functionalities while adhering to team standards and best practices.

• Engage in code reviews (Pull Requests), providing constructive feedback.

• Contribute to the design and evolution of REST APIs following API First standards (OpenAPI).

• Take part in the implementation of microservices-based solutions.

• Apply principles of Clean Code, SOLID, and design patterns.

• Collaborate in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.

• Utilize AI tools to enhance productivity and quality of development.

• Participate in environments based on Spec Driven Development (SDD) methodologies.

• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in backend development with Java 17/21+.

• Proven experience in Spec Driven Development (SDD).

• Professional use of Artificial Intelligence throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.

• Experience in designing and developing REST APIs with an API First approach (OpenAPI/Swagger).

• Familiarity with microservices architectures and hexagonal architecture.

• Knowledge of SOLID principles, Clean Code, design patterns, and development best practices.

• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, particularly MariaDB and/or MongoDB.

• Experience in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) environments.

• Experience in developing and executing unit and integration tests.

• Ability to work autonomously, with initiative and a focus on continuous improvement.
