Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and maintain robust microservices and applications utilizing Java 8+ and Spring Boot.

• Design and consume RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance, resilience, and security through OAuth2, JWT, and Spring Security.

• Engage in the integration of complex systems while modernizing and supporting existing architectures and legacy systems.

• Implement and oversee asynchronous messaging workflows using Apache Kafka.

• Guarantee code quality and reliability through unit testing with JUnit and Mockito, alongside CI/CD practices.

• Design and optimize queries for both relational and NoSQL databases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience with Java 8+ and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.

• Proficient in implementing security measures using Spring Security, OAuth2, and JWT.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Hibernate/JPA and REST API design principles.

• Strong expertise in advanced SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server.

• Practical experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or similar.

• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging systems utilizing Apache Kafka.

• Experience in automated testing with JUnit and Mockito, as well as version control using Git.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and system monitoring tools.

• Proven track record in supporting and maintaining legacy systems.

• Preferred: hands-on experience with Quarkus, including CDI and native builds.

• Preferred: understanding of Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Preferred: experience or familiarity with SAP environments and integrations via IDoc, BAPI, or RFC.
