Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create scalable solutions utilizing Java 11+ and Spring Boot.

• Engage in defining and advancing application architecture.

• Guarantee code performance, maintainability, and compliance with best practices.

• Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) and robust software design principles.

• Ensure adequate test coverage and alignment with architectural standards.

• Actively identify and mitigate technical debt.

• Contribute to the team’s technical discussions and decision-making processes.

• Share expertise, conduct code reviews, and support collective development.

• Keep abreast of industry trends and provide insights to the team.

• Utilize tools such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Aid in continuous integration practices and automation of the delivery process.

• Collaborate effectively and asynchronously on an expanding financial platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Java and Spring Boot.

• Strong understanding of Hexagonal Architecture and systems architecture.

• Proficient in automated testing and TDD methodologies.

• Familiar with DevOps culture and CI/CD pipeline practices.

• Analytical and collaborative mindset, with a keen interest in ongoing technical development.

• Experience with Java 11+ and Spring Boot.

• Knowledgeable in Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Experience in fintech, financial products, or digital financial journeys is advantageous.

• Background in high-scale, performance-sensitive, and business-critical settings is a plus.

• Involvement in architectural modernization projects or platform evolution initiatives is a plus.
