This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine, +3 more states.
• Oversee and manage IT incident response initiatives, taking on the role of Incident Commander during service interruptions and significant incidents.
• Organize and coordinate cross-departmental response actions to restore services while minimizing impacts on operations, clinical functions, and business activities.
• Facilitate incident bridge discussions and handle real-time communications aimed at restoring services.
• Accurately document incident timelines, actions taken, decisions made, and outcomes in real-time.
• Lead comprehensive root cause analyses and post-incident reviews, including the identification of corrective measures.
• Ensure compliance with IT service management protocols, including Incident, Problem, and Change management practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent substantial progressive work experience, certifications, and education.
• ITIL Foundation Certification to be obtained within 6 months of employment.
• Epic certification(s) in one or more application modules is required.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT or healthcare IT settings.
• Extensive experience with Epic EHR/Environments is preferred.
