Cloud Operations Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee SaaS Kubernetes applications hosted on AWS.

• Address event-driven alerts and incidents promptly.

• Implement strategies for the swift deployment of new technologies.

• Manage and prioritize tickets raised by the Client Services team.

• Provide support and troubleshoot issues related to operating systems, applications, virtualization, and containerization.

• Contribute to the development of automation and processes aimed at enhancing operational SLAs.

• Collaborate closely with solutions architects and business stakeholders to identify, design, develop, and deploy infrastructure engineering solutions for the TM platform.

• Support production environments for customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and relevant work experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in a cloud-based operations, engineering, or development role.

• More than 3 years of experience supporting large-scale Java applications.

• At least 3 years of experience working with AWS-based environments.

• Significant experience in implementing Infrastructure as Code principles and technologies, including Terraform.

• Basic understanding of the Linux operating system.

• Practical experience managing and implementing Kubernetes solutions.

• Automation experience with tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Python, etc.

• Hands-on experience in collecting performance data, as well as analyzing, troubleshooting, and tuning.

• Familiarity with application containers like Tomcat.

• Experience in full stack troubleshooting.

• Proficient in source control management (Git).

• Multi-cloud experience, particularly with an emphasis on AWS and Azure support.

• Experience in managing .NET applications.

• Hands-on experience with Dynatrace.

• Proficient in managing Helm-templated Kubernetes environments.

• Understanding of microservice architectures.

• Familiarity with application protocols and messaging formats including TCP/IP, HTTP, SOAP, SMTP, RESTful APIs, XML/JSON, JDBC, JMS/MQ.

• Awareness of application threading and concurrency issues.

• Experience troubleshooting environment-related issues, such as response times, connectivity, authentication, authorization, and configuration.
