This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
β’ Enhance excellence within the Growth organization by optimizing the performance of capture teams and individual contributors.
β’ Lead or take part in Deal Assessments, offering recommendations to increase the probability of winning.
β’ Mentor and coach Capture Managers, Business Development professionals, and Solution Architects.
β’ Engage in opportunities to enhance deal quality and create meaningful approaches for customers.
β’ Simultaneously support multiple pursuits across various customer domains and technologies.
β’ Formulate win strategies, value propositions, strength-based approaches, as well as technical and management solutions.
β’ Lead or contribute to workshops aimed at improving business development, capture, and solution artifacts.
β’ Collaborate with Capture Managers, Business Development leads, subject and technical experts, lead estimators, functional leads, and Program and Proposal Managers.
β’ Convert strategy and technical information into proposal submissions.
β’ Evaluate customer requirements, competition, win strategies, and opportunities for customer engagement.
β’ Participate in internal gate reviews, execution risk assessments, capture reviews, proposal color reviews, and document lessons learned.
β’ Contribute to or write technical and management sections for proposals.
β’ Implement Corporate BD CONOPS and foster SAIC's growth culture.
β’ Identify gaps, devise strategies to address weaknesses, and mitigate risks.
β’ Leverage AI to enhance productivity and quality.
β’ Communicate effectively with senior and executive management.
β’ Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, IT, engineering, mathematics, or another science, along with twenty (20) years or more of relevant experience.
β’ Proven track record and reputation for leading or contributing to winning complex product and service contract awards for the government, with individual deal values exceeding $100M.
β’ Experience with various contract vehicles.
β’ Familiarity with at least one additional function: line management, business development, capture, or solution architecture for large programs valued over $100M.
β’ Solid understanding of the federal procurement acquisition process, contract types (CA/SA, OTA, Self-Scoring, IAC MAC TO, commercial, IDIQ - single or multiple award contracts), and payment types (e.g., FFP, T&M, cost plus).
β’ Confident and experienced in collaborating with senior and executive management within the organization and with senior-level government customers.
β’ U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 25%.
β’ Experience with Cloud, Data, AI/ML, IT/software development, maintenance, and operations.
β’ Background across Civilian, Space, Intelligence, and/or Defense sectors.
β’ Experience in at least two different roles within the business development and program execution lifecycle.
β’ Ability to implement industry best practices (Agile, ITIL, DevSecOps, MLOps, etc.).
β’ Willingness to travel up to 25%.
