Senior IT Project & Program Manager, Asset Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Manage daily relationships with Pinterest’s IT deployment and support service partners

• Enhance partner performance, resolve escalations, and ensure SLA accountability

• Develop and oversee metrics and reporting initiatives for outsourced IT services

• Establish KPIs and conduct regular business reviews to meet service and cost targets

• Leverage AI to enhance vendor reporting and service operations

• Collaborate with IT Project & Program Managers on global deployment and vendor operations

• Oversee vendor/MSP relationships that support IT services

• Work with Procurement, Finance, Legal, and Security on contracts, invoice accuracy, and compliance

• Assist with asset lifecycle and recovery initiatives

• Assess and onboard new service-delivery capabilities

• Aid in budget planning and forecasting for vendor-delivered services

• Identify and implement cost-saving measures across hardware and vendor expenditures

• Act as backup Scrum Lead, with potential to assume the primary Scrum Lead role

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing outsourced/managed service provider relationships at scale, including SLAs and vendor governance

• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities, including the creation of KPI/metrics programs and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience in mentoring peers and influencing decisions without formal authority

• Background in partnering with Procurement, Finance, Legal, and Security

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare materials suitable for executive audiences

• Over 3 years of relevant experience in IT vendor/MSP management, IT asset management, or a related discipline

• Experience integrating AI into daily workflows, with a practical focus on promoting adoption and assessing impact

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent experience

• Familiarity with metrics and ticketing/support tools such as Zendesk is preferred
