
Senior IT Project Manager – Sales Space

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.
• Lead a variety of cross-functional technology initiatives that enhance sales operations, customer experience, sales enablement, pricing coordination, and commercial growth.
• Take ownership of project delivery concerning timelines, budgets, and scopes for low- to medium-risk projects.
• Oversee an average of 3-5 projects, create project teams, develop and manage project plans, coordinate both internal and vendor resources, monitor milestones, handle risks and dependencies, and communicate project statuses.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Finance, IT, vendors, and field stakeholders to define project scope, success metrics, dependencies, adoption requirements, and critical decision points.
• Manage project financials, including forecasts, actual expenditures, budget assumptions, cost drivers, and impacts on the budget.
• Coordinate project resources, facilitate meetings, follow up on action items, and provide constructive feedback.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies while supporting contingency plans.
• Oversee vendor operations, ensure contractual deliverables are met, manage vendor timelines, and assist with RFI/RFP activities.
• Maintain project documentation, track key metrics, support governance routines, capture lessons learned, and contribute ideas for continuous improvement to the PMO.
• Provide hands-on assistance with data validation, readiness for adoption, training material creation, rollout logistics, reporting, and meeting documentation.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in project management, including IT or relevant business experience.
• At least 3 years of experience supporting projects in Sales, Marketing, Pricing, CRM, customer experience, order-to-cash, field enablement, distribution, manufacturing, or commercial technology environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with waterfall, agile, hybrid, and product/wave-based project life cycle methodologies.
• Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional project teams without direct reporting authority.
• Understanding of PMI-based project management competencies and experience in applying these methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills for budgeting, forecasting, risk management, process oversight, quality control, reporting, and executive-level communications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between business and technical audiences.
• Experience with sales or commercial platforms such as Salesforce, CRM applications, pricing tools, customer analytics, marketing automation, ERP integrations, order management systems, reporting tools, or field technology is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, SharePoint, Teams, and project management tools like Smartsheet and Jira.
• CAPM or PMP certification is preferred.
