Senior IT Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee IT projects while managing scope, schedules, budgets, risks, changes, resources, and dependencies.

• Direct cross-functional teams that do not have direct reporting structures.

• Oversee project budgets, forecasts, and cost management activities.

• Coordinate with vendors and external partners engaged in project execution.

• Create and uphold project governance standards.

• Identify, evaluate, track, and mitigate project risks.

• Manage project modifications and their effects on scope, schedule, budget, and resources.

• Ensure resource allocation and project coordination are handled effectively.

• Maintain communication with technical teams, business stakeholders, suppliers, and executive leadership.

• Manage stakeholder expectations and project interdependencies.

• Support projects related to IT infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, and technological transformation.

• Proficiency in project management methodologies.

• Experience in leading cross-functional teams.

• Background in budget management and forecasting.

• Expertise in vendor management.

• Practical experience with project planning, scope management, schedule oversight, budgeting, risk handling, change management, resource allocation, governance, executive communication, and stakeholder engagement.

• Intermediate-level proficiency with Smartsheet.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Advanced capabilities in Microsoft PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL).

• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).

• Familiarity with Cloud Services.

• Understanding of Software-Defined Everything (SDx).

• Awareness of Cybersecurity practices.

• Knowledge of IT infrastructure elements including servers, storage, networks, networking equipment, operating systems, enterprise applications, data centers, cloud computing, security tools, and data management.

• Understanding of the IT infrastructure lifecycle encompassing planning, acquisition/procurement, implementation, asset management, monitoring, maintenance, and decommissioning.

• Experience or knowledge of Oracle EBS, Salesforce, Rental Man, Vertex, Azure, Citrix, Databricks, and OneID.

• Proficiency in English.

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory.

• CAPM, PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, and ITIL certifications are valued but not required.
