This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.
• Manage Microsoft 365 user accounts, groups, licensing, permissions, authentication, Entra ID, MFA, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, account provisioning, lifecycle management, asset documentation, access documentation, and vendor coordination.
• Administer and troubleshoot both on-premises and hosted Windows and Linux servers.
• Manage patching, updates, storage solutions, service maintenance, secure remote administration, monitoring, logs, capacity planning, and availability.
• Ensure the maintenance and testing of backup, restore, and recovery procedures.
• Coordinate on-site or third-party support for tasks requiring physical intervention.
• Configure, support, and document environments for corporate, engineering, and edge networks.
• Provide support for TCP/IP, VLANs, switching, routing, NAT, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, wireless, VPN, cellular, and fiber infrastructures.
• Support network segmentation, resiliency, redundancy, failover strategies, and network equipment.
• Collaborate with customer IT teams, vendors, and integrators on connectivity and design requirements.
• Capture and analyze traffic from applications, APIs, cameras, edge devices, and telemetry sources.
• Estimate bandwidth and capacity requirements while diagnosing latency, packet loss, retransmissions, and congestion issues.
• Assess cellular data usage for mobile and in-vehicle systems.
• Utilize tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, iperf, or similar for sizing and performance recommendations.
• Assist Software Engineering in identifying software, network, OS, hardware, and third-party issues.
• Support the integration of controllers, cameras, RFID/LPR equipment, gateways, antennas, and Windows/Linux edge environments.
• Partner with DevOps on DNS, routing, firewalls, TLS/certificates, secure communications, packet captures, logs, and diagnostics.
• Evaluate networking, compatibility, and integration requirements for emerging technologies.
• Construct and validate prototype and proof-of-concept environments.
• Document constraints, dependencies, test outcomes, and readiness for deployment.
• Implement security best practices and maintain network diagrams, IP/VLAN records, port and firewall specifications, and configuration standards.
• Engage in incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective action processes.
• Extensive experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, and network engineering.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 administration, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration complemented by practical Linux experience.
• Experience in managing physical, hosted, and remotely administered server environments.
• In-depth understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, switching, routing, subnetting, NAT, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPN, and segmentation.
• Skilled in packet capture, traffic analysis, bandwidth estimation, and capacity planning.
• Experience working with wired, wireless, fiber, and cellular networking technologies.
• Background in supporting connected devices such as controllers, cameras, gateways, or IoT equipment.
• Familiarity with MFA, TLS/certificates, and infrastructure security practices.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills, with the capacity to work independently and remotely.
• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Preferred certifications in Microsoft 365, Entra, or Windows Server.
• CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent hands-on networking expertise is preferred.
• Experience in environments that integrate corporate IT, on-prem servers, hosted systems, and edge infrastructure is preferred.
• Knowledge of monitoring, backup/recovery, and virtualization tools is preferred.
• Exposure to industrial networking, RFID/LPR, cellular routers, or edge hardware is preferred.
• Familiarity with zero-trust and secure remote-access architectures is preferred.
• Scripting experience in PowerShell, Bash, or Python is preferred.
