Senior iOS Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement features for the core iOS applications of Housecall Pro.

• Ensure optimal application performance, quality, and responsiveness.

• Collaborate with product management to refine concepts and features that enhance customer satisfaction.

• Create and conduct high-velocity, effective A/B tests to boost business metrics.

• Keep up to date with Growth and Personalization tools.

• Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs.

• Develop and uphold code quality standards, enforcing them across the team.

• Introduce architectural enhancements and refactoring to the existing codebase.

• Write automated tests at the appropriate architectural level.

• Work collaboratively in an iterative, data-driven environment focused on customer-centric product development.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4 years of experience in developing commercial iOS applications.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

• Expert knowledge of Swift and at least a foundational understanding of Objective-C.

• Practical knowledge of SwiftUI, UIKit, and Storyboard UI design.

• Experience with Swift Concurrency and familiarity with asynchronous and multi-threaded application concepts.

• Understanding of Protocol-Oriented and Object-Oriented Programming principles.

• Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data and Core Animation.

• Experience in unit, integration, and instrumentation testing.

• Practical experience in releasing an iOS application to the app store.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools.

• Proficient understanding of Git.

• Practical understanding of SOLID principles.

• Data-driven mindset.

• Attention to detail and a keen eye for design.

• Fluency in English.

• Ability to work 100% remotely in a fast-paced environment.
