This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Carry out investment reporting functions pertaining to risk and compliance management of investment assets.

• Act as the main point of contact for requests related to investment data and the resolution of operational challenges.

• Gather data for reporting to the Board and Investment & Finance, which includes monitoring bond and derivative spreads.

• Evaluate daily trade reports, unsettled trades, unrealized gain/loss reports, watchlists, public asset valuations, Bloomberg ratings, and other investment documentation.

• Assist in the monitoring of NAIC pronouncements and associated investment obligations.

• Help with the pricing and valuation of private assets.

• Manage documentation and communication regarding investment subscription contracts.

• Provide operational and administrative assistance for alternative investments, commercial mortgage loans, derivatives, and other investment operations.

• Uphold and improve front- and middle-office processes to ensure SOX compliance, disaster recovery protocols, and ongoing process enhancement.

• Collaborate with investment managers, vendors, and internal teams to guarantee precise and prompt investment information.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a similar field; relevant experience in investment operations or management may substitute for a business degree.

• 3–5 years of experience in operations, investment operations, or investment management.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to handle multiple tasks while ensuring precision and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external partners.
