Senior Internal Communications Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and take ownership of the internal communications strategy for a diverse group of stakeholders.

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders regarding messaging, strategy, and timing.

• Ensure that employees receive the necessary information and context to perform their roles effectively.

• Create and enhance systems, including AI-powered tools and workflows, to scale communications across a globally distributed remote workforce.

• Assess the effectiveness of communication programs and utilize data for ongoing improvement.

• Cultivate a thorough understanding of Coinbase’s mission, strategy, and culture, and emphasize these in all communications.

• Identify and implement AI-driven methods for content creation, personalization, measurement, and feedback processes.

• Assist in organizing and executing company-wide live events, including preparing talking points, advising on event structure and flow, and getting speakers ready.

• Collaborate with Internal and External Communications teams on proactive and reactive communications as well as internal issues management.

• Report to the Director of Internal Communications.

• Work directly with executives and senior leaders to convey compelling narratives, drive organizational change, and establish best-in-class internal communications in an AI-driven environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in internal, external, or corporate communications, media/journalism, or a similar writing-focused role.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and conciseness in all messaging.

• Well-developed executive presence, with experience in collaborating directly with senior executives on communication initiatives, demonstrating the ability to influence stakeholders and adapt working styles as needed.

• Proven experience in utilizing AI tools to enhance and expedite communication efforts, ensuring responsible use and human oversight.

• Demonstrated resilience and determination in adapting to rapid organizational changes and evolving priorities.

• Experience in communicating effectively with a highly distributed, remote workforce.

• Highly organized, with a background in roadmapping and planning.

• Capable of generating ideas and executing them effectively.

• Ability to maintain a balance between speed and quality, with a keen awareness of priorities.

• Passion for cryptocurrency and a willingness to achieve fluency in the industry.
