Senior Integrations Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Report directly to the Manager of the Enterprise Integration (EI) Platform team

• Act as a Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for leading integration delivery, providing architectural design guidance, and ensuring alignment of projects with the enterprise roadmap

• Offer guidance and mentorship to both internal and offshore development teams

• Conduct code reviews and enforce governance policies for integration

• Collaborate with Integration Architects to assess, approve, and implement cloud integration solutions and API designs

• Supervise enhancements to builds, platform upgrades, migrations, and comprehensive monitoring using CloudWatch, Datadog, and Splunk

• Propel CI/CD automation, manage release artifacts, and troubleshoot technical challenges across intricate cloud environments

• Perform hands-on engineering tasks, up to 20%, to support the development of complex features or frameworks

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Java, Scala, and Python

• Proficiency with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, ECS, basic Kubernetes, and Kafka

• Familiarity with AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, and Splunk

• Strong background in CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven, VPC, VPN, load balancers, and container orchestration

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline

• 4–7+ years of experience in integration development and technical leadership within global enterprises

• In-depth expertise in API architecture, microservices, enterprise messaging systems, and cloud-native solutions

• Experience in implementing integration cloud platforms on a global scale

• Profound understanding of integration and API architecture along with a strong grasp of DevOps / CI / CD

• Knowledge of security concepts including identity management, authentication, and authorization

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all organizational levels

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Capability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
