This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.
β’ Lead the architectural framework for enterprise integrations involving identity, learning, and HR systems.
β’ Establish guidelines for the creation, testing, and support of new connectors.
β’ Develop and sustain Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions utilizing SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect with prominent identity providers.
β’ Execute user and group provisioning via SCIM 2.0 and directory synchronization.
β’ Connect with enterprise Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Learning Experience Platforms (LXP) utilizing LTI 1.3, xAPI, SCORM, cmi5, and vendor APIs.
β’ Integrate with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) to synchronize employee data, organizational structure, and cost center information.
β’ Assess unified API providers against the development of direct connectors.
β’ Design synchronization patterns utilizing webhooks, scheduled synchronizations, conflict resolution, rate limiting, retries, and error reporting.
β’ Create a self-service configuration interface for customer administrators.
β’ Collaborate with Security on data protection, least-privilege access, and customer security assessments.
β’ Provide technical expertise for integration scoping to support pre-sales and onboarding processes.
β’ Document integrations through comprehensive setup manuals, data mappings, and troubleshooting guides.
β’ Over 6 years of experience in software engineering, with a minimum of 3 years focused on B2B SaaS integrations for enterprise clients.
β’ Extensive hands-on experience with SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect, and SCIM 2.0, including troubleshooting in real-world customer settings.
β’ Proven production experience integrating with at least one major HRIS, such as Workday or SAP SuccessFactors.
β’ Proven production experience integrating with at least one enterprise LMS or learning standard, such as LTI, xAPI, or SCORM.
β’ Strong foundational knowledge in integration engineering: API design, event-driven architecture, idempotency, data mapping and validation, and observability.
β’ Awareness of identity and personal data privacy regulations, including GDPR and management of employee data across various jurisdictions.
β’ Ability to communicate effectively with customer IT administrators and bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
β’ A platform-oriented mindset focused on the development of reusable and configurable connectors.
β’ Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is based.
