Senior Insurance Contract, QA Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain personal lines contracts, forms, and endorsements across various states and lines of business.

• Complete necessary filings and address regulatory inquiries regarding contracts.

• Act as the resident expert on contract terms for specific product lines.

• Perform ongoing compliance assessments as products, systems, and regulations evolve.

• Analyze competitor offerings and market demands, integrating insights into the development of forms and endorsements.

• Validate product outputs against filings approved by insurance departments, ensuring functionality and formatting.

• Evaluate rating and pricing modifications as rating tables are updated on a state-by-state basis.

• Create and manage test plans, test cases, and defect tracking for modifications to contracts, ratings, and systems.

• Continue to automate quality assurance tasks in collaboration with the analytics team.

• Collaborate with teams across Product Management, Underwriting, Pricing, Actuarial, Claims, and Technology.

• Draft documentation for contract updates and test cases.

• Oversee multiple states and workstreams concurrently.

• Report directly to the Director of Underwriting, Contract & QA.


⛳️ Requirements

• Typically requires 5+ years of experience in personal lines P&C insurance, focusing on insurance contract and forms development, or claims involving direct policy language work.

• Capability to accurately interpret policy language and identify coverage differences.

• Experience in contract drafting, revisions, and compliance reviews within an insurance context.

• Familiarity with state regulatory environments, including the preparation of filings and responses to regulatory inquiries.

• Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, including test planning, test case development, and defect tracking.

• Experience in UAT or regression testing on insurance systems.

• Proficiency in reviewing policy issuance and rating system outputs for discrepancies.

• Experience collaborating with Product, Underwriting, Actuarial, Claims, and Technology teams.

• Strong attention to detail while working at pace.

• Experience or aptitude for automation and continuous improvement.

• Excellent written communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

• Exceptional QA experience in insurance systems and continuous improvement may replace direct contract or claims experience.

• Must be authorized to work full-time in the United States.

• Must not require employment visa sponsorship.
