This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Design, maintain, and implement both manual and automated test scripts for web, API, and/or mobile applications.
• Work closely with Development teams to gain insight into system architecture and implementation.
• Engage in sprint planning and backlog refinement alongside Product Owner teams.
• Convert product requirements and acceptance criteria into detailed test automation scripts.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with engineers.
• Document defects, validate fixes, and contribute to ongoing quality assurance enhancements.
• Conduct root cause analysis for test failures and assist in debugging processes.
• Ensure that test data is prepared and the environment is ready for automation executions.
• Keep automation documentation up to date and distribute test execution status reports with feature-level coverage traceability.
• Communicate test progress and coverage to stakeholders effectively.
• Comply with risk, regulatory, policy, and control standards; escalate any risk-related concerns.

• Uphold internal control standards and implement findings from audits and regulatory assessments.
• Share responsibility for production support through post-production validation with technology and operations teams.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance and control, including the development and maintenance of test scripts for desktop/web applications/API/web services testing. Alternatively, a combined minimum of 6 years of higher education and/or work experience may substitute for a degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in software quality assurance and control.
• Proficient programming skills in one or more relevant languages.
• Strong understanding of quality control methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Good knowledge of agile development methodologies and Development Operations practices.
• Familiar with relevant defect tracking systems.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Experience in testing desktop/web applications, APIs, and web services.
• Preferred: at least 7 years of experience in software quality assurance and control.
• Preferred: experience with testing cloud-based applications and APIs.
• Preferred: substantial expertise in the Cash & Trading domain, including the Trust Accounting Platform and its ecosystem.
• Exposure to fintech platforms, emerging technologies, modern digital ecosystems, and integration patterns.
• Highly preferred: familiarity with AI concepts and tools, such as AI-assisted testing, test data generation, and intelligent automation.
• Preferred: ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
• Preferred: experience with performance and load testing tools.
• Preferred: knowledge of security testing practices and tools.
