Senior Insider Threat Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and assist with investigations related to insider threats affecting users and endpoints.

• Track, evaluate, and analyze user actions, endpoint information, and security incidents.

• Collect, secure, and scrutinize digital evidence, artifacts, and pertinent data.

• Develop, manage, and refresh investigation documentation, case files, and incident tracking systems.

• Collaborate with legal, human resources, security, compliance, and technical departments.

• Draft investigative summaries, reports, and presentations.

• Identify, evaluate, and propose remediation and mitigation strategies.

• Guide team members and assess peer investigations and reports.

• Aid in the improvement of Insider Threat Management processes, tools, and protocols.

• Deliver analysis, findings, and risk context to leadership and program managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (master's degree preferred).

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, investigative analysis, or intelligence.

• At least 5 years of experience in leading or conducting investigations, or a minimum of 5 years in leading or conducting technical investigations using insider threat tools (UEBA, SIEM).

• Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity investigations, digital forensics, or a similar field.

• Strong understanding of insider threat detection methods and best practices.

• Proficient in digital forensics tools and incident response protocols.

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CITI, or equivalent are highly advantageous.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Awareness of applicable laws and regulations concerning data security and privacy.

• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.

• Capability to work collaboratively in a team setting while maintaining confidentiality.

• Ability to mentor colleagues.
