Senior Innovation Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Oversee the implementation of innovation initiatives and achieve desired outcomes and insights through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Track project progress and utilize project management best practices to effectively manage resources and scope.

• Communicate key milestones, identify and address project risks, develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans, and guide project teams.

• Hold regular status meetings with essential stakeholders.

• Perform market analysis to uncover trends, opportunities, competitive advantages, and potential threats.

• Ensure alignment and engagement among cross-functional and cross-divisional stakeholders.

• Identify business challenges and dependencies, and implement effective solutions.

• Create a research agenda sensitive to market needs for critical operational topics and functions.

• Conduct vendor briefings, online surveys, and end-user interviews to gather primary market intelligence.

• Monitor technological advancements and industry trends, evaluating their impacts on processes.

• Develop relationships with external organizations and end-user collaborators.

• Gather and assess market and competitor intelligence from both internal and external sources.

• Evaluate emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation, and Insurtech solutions.

• Facilitate innovation workshops, design-thinking sessions, and experimentation activities to identify, prototype, and validate new opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is preferred.

• 4-8 years of experience in managing and executing business and/or IT projects using structured methodologies such as Agile.

• Previous experience in Property and Casualty insurance is preferred but not mandatory.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including storytelling, writing, and presentation abilities.

• Capacity to grasp “the big picture.”

• Strong creativity and innovation skills.

• Ability to convey concepts, ideas, emotions, opinions, and conclusions in a way that others can understand or are motivated to act upon.

• Collaborative skills and the ability to secure shared commitment.

• Proficiency in persuading and influencing others to build support.
