
Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Deployment Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Implement and sustain the Istari platform within customer environments utilizing Terraform and Helm across various deployment options, including EKS, AKS, OpenShift, and on-premises Kubernetes.
• Address customer networking needs, encompassing firewall rule scoping, VPN/IPSec setup, DNS coordination, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Set up and resolve issues related to identity provider integrations, including Zitadel, SAML, OIDC, and SSO with KeyCloak, PingFederate, Okta, and Azure AD.
• Facilitate and manage services for cross-organization data sharing, such as Secure Sync deployment, KMS policy exchange, IAM roles, and S3 access configuration.
• Create and uphold infrastructure-as-code packages and reference architectures for deployments managed by customers.
• Oversee, diagnose, and rectify complex infrastructure challenges while ensuring clear and prompt communication with customers.
• Collaborate directly with customers and cross-functionally with sales, product engineering, and infrastructure teams from the initial technical scoping during pre-sales to production operations and ongoing support.
• At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, Network Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, VPN/IPSec, firewalls, IAM, and secrets management.
• Familiarity with identity providers and federation protocols (SAML, OIDC, SSO, Active Directory).
• Knowledge of databases, including transaction write-ahead logging, backup/restore operations, and monitoring.
• Proficiency with graph query languages (SPARQL, Cypher, DQL, or similar).
• Demonstrated experience operating Kubernetes in production environments.
• Experience with Helm charts and Kubernetes application packaging.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ansible.
• Background in working directly with external customers in a technical delivery or consulting role.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities in complex production settings.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Preferred: Experience with AWS GovCloud, Azure Government (IL4/IL5), or other regulated cloud environments.
• Preferred: Familiarity with OpenShift, ROSA, or non-standard Kubernetes distributions.
• Preferred: Knowledge of compliance or security frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST, SOC 2, CMMC, or similar.
• Preferred: Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA (Network+, Security+, Linux+), AWS Solutions Architect Associate, AWS SysOps Administrator Associate, Azure Administrator Associate, or similar.
• Preferred: Experience with network analysis tools (Wireshark, tcpdump).
• Preferred: Experience with PostgreSQL, cloud storage platforms, and production networking patterns.
• Preferred: Knowledge of service mesh or advanced Kubernetes networking (Istio, Envoy).
