Senior Site Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, oversee, and sustain distributed production systems.

• Establish frameworks and processes to guarantee uptime for patients and providers.

• Supervise and maintain intricate cloud-based infrastructure, systems, and services.

• Automate and create tools, processes, and infrastructure to enhance development speed, repeatability, and eliminate errors.

• Assist product engineering teams with their scaling, performance, and uptime requirements.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues.

• Evaluate and optimize systems, code, and networking for scaling and optimal functionality.

• Engage with advanced GenAI tools and technologies.

• Promote a culture of robust DevOps practices and shared responsibility among product teams for site reliability and initial response.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience supporting consumer-facing web application production environments and systems in a Site Reliability Engineering or Production Engineering capacity.

• At least 2 years of on-call experience in a 24/7 cloud-based production setting.

• A minimum of 2 years managing and supporting contemporary cloud-based environments and infrastructure, including AWS/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.

• Familiarity with edge technologies such as load balancers, reverse proxies, web application firewalls, and routing.

• Profound understanding of protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, DNS, and NTP.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent engineering experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Ability to remain composed during outages and advocate for blameless post-mortems.
