This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the daily operational availability, support, and sustainability of a 24x7x365 security infrastructure.
• Provide recommendations for enhancements to security hardware, software, and associated tools.
• Aid in the evaluation, planning, configuration, and implementation of security applications and tools.
• Conduct risk analysis for corporate functional and technical areas pertinent to data security.
• Configure, implement, monitor, and support security systems, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, DLP, log management/correlation, EDR/XDR, web content filtering, email security, identity and access management, and vulnerability management.
• Identify and incorporate security best practices into network and system designs, configurations, and implementations.
• Suggest modifications or additions to data security policies and procedures while collaborating with business units on improvements.
• Facilitate penetration testing and participate in audits.
• Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures related to data security.
• Propose and enforce technical service level standards and procedures for data security.
• Establish alternative security measures that support business continuity while safeguarding company assets.
• Detect, respond to, investigate, and rectify potential data security breaches and issues.
• Monitor, detect, investigate, and respond to incidents within AI environments, including security MCP server integrations and data loss prevention in AI prompts and model interactions.
• Implement user awareness, compliance monitoring, and security compliance programs.
• Maintain information security devices and software while resolving security policy issues.
• Manage relationships with third-party providers of security monitoring and tools.
• Offer off-hours support for information security concerns.
• Track data security issues to resolution by collaborating with business units, communicating solutions, and verifying remediation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
• Possession of a security certification such as CISSP, CCSE, AWS, or GIAC certifications.
• At least 6 years of experience in information security, including project management and security concepts for technology systems.
• Extensive knowledge of network security, including Check Point firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and encryption.
• Experience with AWS cloud security and cloud-native security tools.
• Strong analytical, prioritization, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Capability to work with and influence peers and senior management.
